Music as a language
Beyond classical and jazz, Fu Ping Ryu has played flamenco, choro, Irish music and rock, and keeps a lasting interest in the musical traditions of the world. He studied classical guitar in Taiwan and at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, jazz guitar at the Gustav Mahler Privatuniversität in Klagenfurt, and jazz composition in Vienna.
